Huron County has recognized the Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority with an an accessibility award for the South Huron Trail Mobile.
The Award of Merit for Barrier Free Access recognizes the trail mobile which provides nature enjoyment and active recreation for people with limited mobility.
Several residents within Exeter Villa have been among those to enjoy the trail with weekly tours being a favourite activity at the Villa.
Tamara Thompson, Director of Activities and Volunteer Services at Exeter Villa says the trail mobile has been such a rich, valuable community resource.
