The Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority is launching a campaign allow residents to adopt a turtle.
This campaign allows donations to the Support the Turtles Protection Program to enhance wetland habitat for turtles with different levels of recognition for fundraising.
Rosalind Chang, Healthy Watersheds Coordinator with the ABCA says this is a great way to make a real local difference with donations to help create a wetland habitat for turtles in need.
The campaign which launched this month and continue until September 3rd, the day of the annual hatchling release event at the Morrison Dam Conservation Area.
