A recently acclaimed Kincardine Councillor is looking for feedback from younger demographics to help plan and support youth friendly initiatives.
Beth Blackwell is currently running an online survey to give young people (between ages 12-18) a chance to share their experiences and ideas about how to improve the area.
The original plan was to hold consultation sessions, but the outreach had to be moved online after a close COVID contact.
Blackwell says early feedback shows a lot of youth don’t feel that their voices are being respected and that issues that are important to them – climate change initiatives, transportation, year-round activities – aren’t being addressed.
