The Township of Ashfield-Colbourne-Wawanosh is nearing completion on their parks and recreation strategic plan and a draft version will be available to view in March.
In order to complete the plan, the town was given money through the Ontario Trillium Foundation’s Resilient Communities Fund grant.
The grant funding requires the town to host a recognition event with local MPP Lisa Thompson and OTF representatives in attendance, so a meeting tentatively scheduled for March 7 had to be moved.
The open house will now be held on Wednesday, March 15 at 6 p.m. at the Benmiller Community Hall. After remarks, consultants will present the draft of the plan.
