The Alexandra Marine & General Hospital Foundation announced at their Annual General Meeting an investment of just over $2.1 million dollars in the Alexandra Marine and General Hospital for 2021-22.
Treasurer Justin Pearson noted that the AMGH Foundation had an exceptional fiscal year and donations generated $1.8 million with an additional $88,000 generated by foundation investments.
Fundraisers for the year included the Alexandra Rose Long Table Dinner which raised funds for the Cardia Telemetry System.
Other events included the Spring Newsletter, Siddal Fish Shack Campaign, Summer Raffle, First ever Smile Cookie Campaign, Radiothon and their Christmas Appeal.
Almost every event they indicated exceeded their goals.
