The Alexandra Rose Long Table Dinner is quickly approaching all in support for the Alexandra & Marine General Hospital Foundation.
Taking place in downtown Goderich on August 25th, tickets are available for $250 which includes a dinner, champagne reception, live music and more with tickets selling quickly.
Kimberly Payne, Executive Director for the Alexandra & Marine General Hospital Foundation says its events such as this which greatly impacts the hospital with plenty in need this year.
“We have a request from the hospital that’s almost $600,000 for equipment this year and rather than focus on a specific piece we approved the entire list and so now we have to fundraise to purchase that. That’s why we do this, last year we raised $197,000, this year we’re hoping for better than that hopefully $200,000-$210,000 that would be great” said Payne.
The event taking place on August 25th is being held in Courthouse Park.
