Following the success of the October job fair in Listowel, the Avon Maitland District School Board is expanding such events to other areas next month.
The school board and its Centre for Employment and Learning are looking to plan job fairs starting next month in areas such as Wingham and Clinton.
The first job fair will be at FE Madill Secondary School in Wingham on Dec. 1, another in Goderich on Dec. 13 and the Centre for Employment and Learning office in Clinton on Dec. 15.
The Economic Development office is looking to find ways to recruit and attract work in the area as the region faces its lowest number of unemployment at 2.3 per cent.
