The Avon Maitland District School Board’s Centre for Education and Learning shared word it has seen 25 graduates from its inaugural Personal Support Worker certification program.
The program, which includes training in a live classroom and co-operative education, was no charge to those participants and included a combination of online and in-person classes in Goderich & Stratford.
Kendra Brohman, Principal of the CEL’s says they are proud of their graduates as they move into a role that is critical for many people in the community.
The next program begins mid-to-late summer.
