The Municipality of Kincardine has opened the application window for another round of Community Investment Grants (CIG).
The window to apply for CIGs opened this morning at 9 a.m. The program provides funding to local, non-profit organizations focused on having a positive impact on the quality of life in the community.
The funds are applicable to any project that fits in four specific streams: Arts, Culture, and Heritage; Sports and Recreation; Social, Health, and Environment; and Tourism.
This year’s CIGs gave a total of $67,500 in funding to 30 local non-profit organizations.
Applicants may only apply once per calendar year. The deadline to complete an application is Dec. 2 at 4 p.m.
