Arran-Elderslie Council to hear delegation on Proposed Micro Cannabis Facility today

 The facility proposed for the Village of Tara would see a building of around 469 square meters and a growing surface of up to 200 square meters.

The Municipality of Arran-Elderslie is set to hear from a delegation at this afternoon’s Council Meeting on a proposed Zoning By-Law Amendment in support of a Micro-Cannabis Facility.

The facility proposed for the Village of Tara would see a building of around 469 square meters and a growing surface of up to 200 square meters.

The land is located at 46 Bruce Road 17.

There was a public meeting held on April 5th at which time concerns including security, operating hours, property values and environmental concerns were raised.

Staff is recommending Council approve the Zoning By-Law Amendment to permit the Micro-Cannabis Facility.
