An open house will take place next week in Goderich for the Backflow Prevention Program.
Running on December 6th from 3-5pm in the council chambers, the open house will provide the public with the rules and regulations involved with the backflow prevention program as well as who is affected and the purpose of the program.
The program is designed to identify any and all cross connections where potential contamination of potable water may occur as well as maintain a database of water users who have backflow prevention devices.
