Residents with children playing minor hockey in the Brussels, Clinton, Hensall and Seaforth areas are in-store for a change in their hockey landscape with an upcoming discussion on amalgamation of the two centres and a vote.
The Amalgamation Committee says they have held several meetings over the past couple of years and they say they are at the point where sharing proposals and conducting a vote are to occur.
The date for the both is March 8th, 2022 at 7:30pm.
They collective says their mission is to create the best minor hockey experience for all players in the combined region.
They add that the joint effort of amalgamation is to create a larger and more connected hockey community that will focus on appropriate opportunities for players.
