During the month of September, the Beer Store locations in Goderich & Wingham are accepting empty beer, wine and cooler containers in support of Habitat for Humanity Huron County.

All proceeds from items donated help support the construction of a new home for a local family.

Habitat for Humanity will be at the Ciderfest at the Van Egmond House Museum in Seaforth on Sunday for more information on the work they do in the community from 10 to 4:30.

Habitat for Humanity aims to improve lives through affordable home ownership.

Homeowners achieve the strength, stability, and self-reliance they need to build a better life for themselves and their families.
