With the election wrapped up and Ben Lobb being re-elected, it wasn’t just the general election where he won as he also won in the local student vote.
Student Vote Canada who held a nationwide vote with local candidates in each riding saw Lobb be the winner with 48.50 per cent of the vote.
Liberal candidate James Rice came in 2nd in the student vote with 21.42 per cent followed by an Independent candidate only named Caesar Salad Pella with 12.78 per cent.
Across the country the student vote came out different than the general which saw the Conservatives win with a minority government in the student election.
