Bruce County Blues was able to rally more support and help put on some shows for local students.
Huron Heights and St Anthony’s School both welcomed the Ghost Town Blues Band from Memphis who put on a show while teaching about the history of Blues music.
Jen McKellar, School Coordinator for Blues in the Schools says the continue to receive much support for their programs.
“Everytime we have a raffle, all of the money goes towards Music in the Schools. Part of the profits from the bands coming also support the program it’s a big mandate for our organization.” said McKellar.
The Ghost Town Blues Band help ring in the Bruce County Blues Society’s 18th anniversary of bringing blues music to Bruce County.
