The Municipality of Bluewater advised of a road closure on Friday, June 23rd due to the Celebration of Life for a fallen Bluewater Firefighter at the Bayfield Arena.
A show of support from different fire departments across Ontario is expected.
They encourage anyone local attending the event to walk to Arena if they are able.
Parking at the building will be reserved for emergency personnel, family, and those with limited mobility.
Parking on the grounds will be solely reserved for firefighters attending the service.
Any buses arriving for the event are to drop off at the Arena and then drive to the Stanley Community Complex in Varna to park.
Area roads will be closed from 7 am to 5 pm to accommodate the event and the procession.
