The Municipality of Brockton continues to monitor the conditions of the flooding in Pinkerton.

Brockton is working closely with Bruce County, provincial agencies and Conservation partners in response to the flooding which was caused by a breach in a privately owned dyke following the level of rainfall and snow melt.

This has led to partially redirecting the Teeswater River toward three occupied homes.

The municipality remains in an Enhanced Monitoring State with the Municipal Emergency Control Group meeting regularly to assess conditions and coordinate response efforts.

At this time a State of Emergency has not been declared at this time.

Repairs are expected to take time due to the elevated water levels and limited access to the site.
