Bruce County is accepting applications for fencing for those property owners along the Bruce County Rail Trail.
The Rail Trail Fencing Sub-Committee will be setting priorities for the installation along the former CNR corridor for 2023.
It starts at the Huron County border north of Clifford and extends through Mildmay, Walkerton, and Paisley to Port Elgin and southerly to the Bruce Nuclear Power Development.
The requests will be reviewed and evaluated based on the criteria of significantly deteriorated fence, current livestock use on adjacent lands, and areas of impending trail use.
The deadline to apply is Thursday, October 27th.
Previous applications from past years will be reconsidered and need not apply again.
