Bruce County says as spring approaches, it is time for individuals to start preparing and filing their 2022 income tax returns.
For some people, particularly those with limited resources, filing can be an overwhelming task.
To help support people in need, the County’s Human Services department is highlighting that organizations & volunteers across the region are again hosting free tax clinics as part of the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program.
It offers free of charge to everyone who meets the eligibility criteria.
The locations available by appointment include at the Bruce County Library branches in Chesley, Walkerton, Port Elgin and Kincardine.
In Huron County they are available by appointment at locations including Goderich, Brussels, Blyth, and Wingham.
