The Bruce County Blues Society is not only an organization that organizes concerts in and around the County featured a wide variety of blues musicians but also one that fosters the love of the music with future generations of musicians.

Society President Marilyn Clarke says there are a few reasons they undertake the “Blues in the Schools” program.

“We are trying to teach our youngsters about the roots of music. Over the years we have been excited to have some of those students persue blues, some have persued jazz and others have persued  music. We want to have them get an appreciation of music.”
