Bruce County next month is partnering up with Smart Commute to encourage residents to do their part in celebrating cycling and build new skills.
Bike to Work Day will kick off next Thursday, offering a chance to swap your keys for a bike ride. During the month you also have a shot to win prizes by logging your rides as each entry is a chance to win one of five $100 shop local gift cards.
Warden Luke Charbonneau says Bike Month is an easy way to build healthy habits and support a more sustainable community.
A series of webinars will also start early with one tomorrow afternoon dubbed Get Ready to Cycle: Basics, Gear and Safety going from 12-1pm.
