Bruce County is encouraging families to consider the Child Activity Assistance Program.
The program supports families to get children the chance to participate in activities and programming when fees are a barrier.
This is open for families with a gross income of less than $49,466 and can assist with the cost of activities like school trips, nutrition programs, extra curricular activities, arts and cultural programs, Scouts and more.
Families can access the program for their child under 18 and can receive up to $500 per child per year.
Tina Metcalfe, Director of Human Services says the program ensures children have access to extracurricular activities which support growth and development.
