Bruce County Council increases Income Threshold for Child Activity Assistance Program

The fund is available for families with a gross income of less than $49,466 and provides up to maximum of $500 per year for assisting with costs of school trips, nutrition programs, extra-curricular activities, arts & culture programs, Scouts/Embers etc.

Bruce County Council is supporting the inclusion of all children in various extracurricular, school nutrition and culture & skill building activities through its approval of an enhancement to the Child Activity Assistance Program with an increase to the eligible income threshold & assistance allotment.

The fund is available for families with a gross income of less than $49,466.

It assists families with the cost of activities such as school trips, nutrition programs, extra-curricular activities, arts & culture programs, Scouts/Embers etc.

The subsidy is available for dependent children, living at home, who are under the age of 18.

The maximum CAAP funding is $500 per year, per child.
