The Bruce County Transportation and Environmental Services Department announced it will be implementing traffic calming measures in designated locations throughout the County.
The measures include vertical centreline treatment devices, They ask that drivers proceed with caution through these areas and follow posted speed limits.
The areas are:
- Arkwright
- Barrow Bay
- Burgoyne
- Dobbington
- Eden Grove
- Lions Head
- Formosa
- Glammis
- Mildmay 6E (Absalom St W)
- Paisley on Bruce Road 1 and Bruce Road 11
- Invermay
- Colpoys Bay
- Bruce Road 22
The Vertical Centreline Treatment Devices create a narrowing effect and a median on the road. They are designed to flex under large equipment if necessary at low speeds.
