Another donation has been made to the Bruce County Library bookmobile program.
Barry’s Construction in Allenford recently donated $5,000 to the library project.
Last month, the Nuclear Waste Management Organization contributed $50,000 and the Society of United Professionals Bruce Local donated $10,000.
In a news release, the Library is now in the active planning stages of the bookmobile including the plotting of potential routes, designs, and more.
They say by purchasing and modifying a vehicle and hiring staff to operate it, they will be able to connect to underserved communities both digitally and socially.
The Library had indicated that they hope to have the bookmobile up and running sometime later this year.
