Bruce County is looking into adding a commute ride sharing program.
Council last week discussed the idea entering a memorandum of understanding between Bruce County and the Smart Communities Association for a RideShare program.
The county is hoping on working with large scale employers in the area and then create an amount of drivers in the system.
The plan will hit a key transportation need seen within Bruce County’s Transit Demand and Feasibility Study done in December 2023.
