The Bruce County Rail Trail will be undergoing corridor and surface improvements from June 12 to 30th between Bruce Road 40 and the Mill Creek Trestle Bridge in Port Elgin.

Work will include corridor widening and the application of a trail surface of aggregate to improve trail accessibility.

During the time the work is being completed access may be impeded, and temporary closures may result at times.

The site is a multi-use trail that is around 80 km long and extends from Port Elgin to the Huron-Bruce Road and from Port Elgin to Bruce Nuclear Power.

It is a significant trail artery that connects several community trails throughout Port Elgin, Kincardine, Paisley, Walkerton and Mildmay.
