Bruce County has released the draft of its new Official Plan set to pave the way for policies and schedules up to 2046.
The new plan will set out broadly the land use planning direction for the county for the next several years.
The plan is complete with eight Guiding Principles developed in talks with the community including increasing the supply and mix of homes, supporting local agriculture, connecting to improve the ability to move people, goods and information between communities, identify and manage cultural heritage resources and more.
The draft of the plan is currently open for public review and comments.
