Bruce County sees Child Care Educators take part in Professional Learning Event last Friday

The event was hosted by Bruce, Grey and Huron County as well as the City of Stratford and funded by the Ministry of Education. Over 800 child care educators from the four regions participated.

Bruce County saw its Child Care Educators get together last Friday, March 24th, with others from around the area to attend the “You’re Extraordinary” Professional Learning Event at the Blue Mountain Resort.

The event was hosted by the Bruce, Grey and Huron County and the City of Stratford and funded by the Ministry of Education.

Over 800 child care educators from the four regions participated.

The event was focused on inspiring the educators through the concepts of well-being for educators & children, and promoting belonging through equity, diversity and inclusion.

Tina Metcalfe, Bruce County’s Manager of Children’s Services says Early Childhood Educators are integral  to the providing of high quality child care and early years programs to families in Bruce County.
