Bruce County is taking the time for meaningful reflection on the impacts of residential schools for the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
Orange Shirt Day and the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on September 30th mark important moments for Bruce County to pause, remember and recommit to the work of reconciliation.
Bruce County raised the Every Child Matters flag outside facilities on September 1st and will be lowered to half mast on September 30th to remember children who never returned home.
The flag design is by Taylor Cameron, an artist from Saugeen First Nation.
