Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound MP Alex Ruff recognized Jesse Walker who continues to inspire & impress with his fundraiser for the Canadian Cancer Society.

The youth is a cancer survivor who was diagnosed with a form of brain cancer, medulla blastoma,  back in April 2018.

After undergoing a 12-hour surgery, numerous doses of chemotherapy and beating the cancer he recently ran in a Triathlon to show children with cancer that the disease cannot hold them back from accomplishing their dreams.

He has raised over $17,000 so far this year and is hoping to achieve over $100,000 raised over the past 4 years.

MP Ruff presented a symbolic cheque recently to honour the fundraising so far and to present him a Leadership & Service Coin for Making a Difference.
