The Province has announced an investment of nearly $140,000 in 5 projects in Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound to help seniors with complex medica needs connect to specialized care and supports in their LTC home instead of at a hospital.

The money is part of a larger $20 million dollar investment earlier in 189 projects provincewide.

It sees nearly $77,000 to Lee Manor in Owen Sound and Rockwood Terrace in Durham, and just over $45,000 in two installments for both Gateway Haven in Wiarton and Meaford Long-Term Care Centre.

Rick Byers, MPP for the area says the investment, tailored to the needs of their community, will provide LTC residents right here with the specialized supports & services they need.
