Bruce Museum & Legacy of Hope hosting events on Indigenous People’s Day

Bruce Museum offering free admission to site as well as Legacy of Hope Exhibits at Welcome Centre & Walker House in Kincardine.

With today being Indigenous People’s Day the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre is offering free admission to the site for the day.

From 10 am to 5 pm visitors can explore the Museum’s captivating dispalys & exhibits include the Anishnaabwe Endaat Gallery, which showcases the history, stories and experience of local Indigenous communities to present day.

In Kincardine the Legacy of Hope has three exhibits on display; including Youth on Reconcilliation at the Welcome Centre at the Kincardine Centre for the Arts and Remembering, Honouring and the Way Forward and Killing the Indian in the Child exhibits at the Walker House.

The three exibits are on display until September 2nd, 2023.

All are free to attend.
