Bruce Power donates $20,00 to Red Cross in support of Wildfire Relief Effects in Canada

Even though Canada’s air quality is ranked among cleanest in the world, air pollution still impacts the health of many & contributes to more than 15,000 premature deaths each year.

Bruce Power has donated $20,000 to wildfire relief efforts through the Canadian Red cross, helping in resilient and recovery activities in response to fires that continue to affect the air quality across the country and into the US.

Mike Rencheck, Bruce Power President & CEO said they are proud to make the donation to ensure the communities affected most by the wildfires get the assistance they need.

Even though Canada’s air quality is ranked among the cleanest in the world, air pollution still impacts the health of many and contributes to more than 15,000 premature deaths in Canada each year.

The Provincial and Federal government are currently matching donations to the Canadian Red Cross at a rate of 3 times.
