Bruce Power donates $20,000 to Canadian Red Cross toward emergency Relief in Turkey & Syria

The Red Cross is delivering emergency relief to those impacted by the magnitude 7.8 and 7.6 earthquakes that hit the region on February 6th.

Bruce Power has donated $20,000 to the Canadian Red Cross for emergency relief in Turkey and Syria, and encourages its employees, and other local businesses and community members to consider supporting the effort.

The Red Cross is delivering emergency relief to those impacted by the magnitude 7.8 and 7.6 earthquakes that hit the region on February 6th.

The money raised will allow the Red Cross to provide relief and support recovery efforts, resiliency and preparedness activities in Turkey, Syria and surrounding areas.

The Government of Canada has announced it will match donations from individuals to the Equathquake in Turkey and Syria Appeal, up to a maximum of $10 million dollars.
