Bruce Power donates $60,000 to Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario on International Childhood Cancer Day

Bruce Power marked International Childhood Cancer Day with a $60,000 donation to the Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario.

The organization known as POGO has been championing childhood cancer care since 1983, ensuring that all children with cancer in Ontario, their families, and survivors have equitable access to the best care for the best possible outcomes.

Mike Rencheck, Bruce Power President & CEO says it’s gratifying that the company is able to play a part in POGO’s great work.

Bruce Power also says it and its employees are also proud of their role as a global supplier of medical isotopes, which are used in various forms of cancer treatment and the sterilization of medical equipment.
