Canada’s Top 100 Employers have named Bruce Power as one the county’s best diversity employers.
Bruce Power have been recognized for their commitment to inclusivity through programs and training opportunities.
In a news release, Canada’s Top 100 says Bruce Power is known for their diversity programs for women and visible minorities, Indigenous employment programs, leadership training, and mental health initiatives and employee services.
They go on to say Bruce Power continues to make progress in its relationship and reconciliation efforts with the Métis Nation of Ontario, the Historic Saugeen Métis and the Saugeen Ojibway Nation, on whose traditional territory the site sits.
The company has focused on increasing Indigenous employment and creating economic opportunities within the communities.
