Bruce Power has been named one of Diversio’s Top 20 Most Innovative Companies.
The initiative at the company recognized was its Indigenous Employment Program, which is focused on attracting, developing, supporting and retaining Indigenous people and removing barriers to employment for those wishing to enter the nuclear industry and energy sector.
The program was developed in partnership with the Indigenous communities in the territory that the Bruce Site operates.
It aims to directly reflect each community’s unique needs and priorities.
Since being implemented the Indigenous employment at Bruce Power and its partners has tripled & student placements have near doubled.
