Officials with Bruce Power are part of the Canadian delegation at the 27th Conference of the Parties of the United Nations Convention on Climate Change.
Bruce Power is taking a number of actions to support the country’s progress to meet climate targets.
Among some actions taken include $500 million in Green Bonds last year to help finance eligible investments as part of the companies Life Extension Program.
Bruce Power also has its sights on achieving Net Zero emissions from site operations by 2027.
The Canadian delegation at the conference includes those from the federal government, Natural Resources Canada and the Ministries of Environment and Climate Change Canada.
