Bruce Power says following completed planned maintenance on Unit 1, it is now capable of producing even more reliable, carbon-free electricity for families and businesses in Ontario.
The unit’s maximum net capability has been raised 6 megawatts to 821 megawatts and is now capable of powering 820,000 homes and businesses in Ontario.
The Bruce Power site currently has the capability of producing 6550 megawatts over its eight units.
