Bruce Power & Supplier Partners Donate $320,000 to Holiday Initiatives

Bruce Power and its supplier partners have donated $320,000 to multiple holiday initiatives across Bruce, Grey and Huron counties.

$55,000 was raised for 19 local toy drives and hamper programs with $2000 also donated to each of 38 local food banks seeing a higher usage this year.

Further, soup kitchens in Chesley, Hanover, Walkerton and Owen Sound shared $20,000 to feed the less fortunate while homeless shelters in the region got over $50,000 to support outreach efforts.

Bruce Power also sent hundreds of $25 grocery store gift cards home with students to help families over Christmas as well as gift cards for local women’s shelter and Indigenous communities.
