Bruce Power Suppliers Donate $10,000 to Bruce Power United Way Toy Drive

Fundraiser will benefit 10 Local Toy Drives & Hamper Program.

Bruce Power has launched an online fundraiser, in conjunction with the United Way of Bruce Grey, to collect money for toy and hamper programs this holiday season.

Ten Local Toy Drive & Hamper Programs will benefit from the Fundraiser including Women’s House Serving Bruce and Grey, Kincardine Hamper Program at St. Anthony’s Church, the Walkerton Optimist Club, the Lions Clubs of Tiverton and Ripley, the Salvation Army’s of Port Elgin and Owen Sound, the Paisley Hamper Program and the Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nation and Saugeen First Nation.

The fundraiser is open to Bruce Power employees and contractors, as well as the public. Tax receipts will be issued.

The Fundraiser was kick-started by a $10,000 donation through Bruce Power’s Charitable Events Sponsorship Program. Bruce Power also says they will donate $5,000 to the local toy & hamper programs in each of Bruce, Grey and Huron Counties.
