Bruce Power’s Unit 3 Major Component Replacement project construction phase has been completed well on plan and remains on budget.
Unit 3 was taken out of service on March 1st 2023 with Bruce Power and its construction partners working together to safely and successfully deliver this complex project.
Bruce Power’s Life Extension Program and MCR Project will extend the operational life of each reactor by 30-35 years and help mitigate the predicted increase in greenhouse gas emissions intensity of the electricity grid.
