After last week saw the heat temper down, you’ll be heading into Canada Day with soaring heat.
Temperatures this week from Environment Canada show afternoon highs reaching the low to mid 30’s before the humidex which with those values could exceed 40 degrees.
A note from Environment Canada says to check on family, friends and neighbours who are at higher risk, particularly if you live alone and make sure there is a cool space available.
