With the help of the Leland and Thora Vance Fund, the Wingham & District Hospital Foundation’s Caring Together Campaign has received $85,260.
The campaign is to help bring a CT Scanner to the hospital.
The Vance Fund is held by the Waterloo Region Community Foundation and overseen by a committee of prominent community members who have been left to dish out funds specifically left by the Vances to support the town of Wingham.
With hope to bring a CT Scanner to Wingham the goal will be reduce travel times for residents and be able to make critical diagnoses faster and safer.
