A Central Huron driver faces a series of charges after a report from the public on September 15th.
Police were contacted by a concerned citizen shortly after 12:30 that morning who advised they believed a person was planning on driving after drinking alcohol at a pub in Bluewater.
Officers patrolled the area and observed a vehicle departing from a business and proceeding to drive dangerously.
They were pulled over on the Bluewater Highway.
They were found to have consumed alcohol prior to driving.
They face charges of impaired operation, dangerous operation, and refusal to comply with a breath demand.
They also face charges under the Compulsory Insurance Act.
Their vehicle has been impounded for 7 days and their license suspended for 90. They are set to appear in a Goderich Court on October 23rd.
