The Municipality of Central Huron issued a statement on the passing of Michael Oakes, an employee who lost his life last week in a collision outside of Clinton.
Oakes was an equipment operator working out of the Holmesville Roads Shed since August 2018. The municipality says they’re saddened by the sudden and tragic loss of their friend and colleague.
They also send sincere condolences out to Oakes family and friends.
