6-week group program is designed to support those most distant from labour market with skills to get back to work, build employable skills, connect with local employers & provide funding for short term training & micro credentials.

The Centre for Employment & Learning is set to launch a new program on Monday, October 16th entitled “Thrive”.

The 6-week group program is designed to support those most distant from the labour market with the skills to get back to work by offering a chance to build employable skills, connect with local employers through job trials or hiring/training incentives and provides funding for short term training and micro credentials.

Those eligible include those living in Huron County, not working and looking to return and open to all ages but must be out of school.
