The Township of Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh shared word this morning of a pump test at the newly drilled well for Century Heights.
The 72-hour test has a sound dampening generator running for the duration of the test and ACW staff apologize for the noise.
The expansion of the Municipal Water System comes at a budgeted amount of $360,000 plus HST.
It is set to be recovered by development charges. W.D. Hopper & Sons is undertaking the drilling of the new supply as part of the expansion.
