The deadline is approaching for students to submit their level of volunteer hours to earn the Minister’s Certificate of Recognition for Community Involvement.
This new certificate is given to graduating high school students who go beyond their needed volunteer hours, recognizing those who earn 50 or more hours.
The certificate honours civic engagement, leadership and community spirit.
The bronze level looks at those with 50-99 hours, silver to 100-199 and gold for over 200 volunteer hours.
Submissions for hours is due April 1st.
